A wall can't stop us...it's the canvas! Joined by Innu reggae artist Shauit, tropical punks Sonido Pesao, folk punk singer Santosh Lalonde, and Brazilian maestro Diogo Ramos, this album is a celebration of the Montreal global underground family.
Animated by a high-energy brass section, an explosive mix of punk rock vocals and relentless rhythms, the 10 songs explore themes such as the resilience of migrants, the workers’ struggle, encounters with Indigenous peoples, social criticism, and the importance of celebrating in the face of adversity, along with a healthy dose of anarchist humour.

WHO DID this????
Kon-Fusion is a multicultural punk band from Montreal that mashes ska-punk, cumbia, and traditional music of the Andes into a rebellious celebration. It was formed in 2012 by two Chilean immigrants who met in pre-gentrification Verdun: Pablo, a punk rocker from Santiago, and Luciano, a multi-instrumentalist steeped in the protest music of Indigenous-led resistance in the south of Chile.
Kon-Fusion has toured across Quebec, Ontario, and Mexico, playing everything from festivals, co-ops, and independent venues to workers’ rights rallies and grassroots fundraisers. Along the way, they’ve picked up awards including Alternative Group of the Year (Canadian Latin Awards), while even soundtracking the 2021 Chilean uprising on national radio.
With its rebellious, celebratory Andean ska sound, the band will appeal to fans of bands like Chico Trujillo, Gogol Bordello, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.
